How to install your eSIM on iPhone

You need WiFi while installing. It takes about 2 minutes.

    Open the QR code

    Open the GoSimGlobal email on another screen (computer or tablet), so you can scan it with your iPhone camera.

    Go to Settings

    Settings → Mobile Service (or Cellular) → Add eSIM → Use QR Code.

    Scan the QR code

    Point the camera at the QR code. Your iPhone recognises the plan by itself.

    Name the line

    Give it a name like “Travel” so you can tell it apart from your SIM.

    Choose your lines

    Default line for calls and SMS: your SIM. Mobile data: the “Travel” eSIM.

    When you arrive

    Turn on Data Roaming for the eSIM only. The plan activates when it connects to the network.

Tip

Install it at home before you leave. The plan’s days only start when you connect to the network at your destination.
