How to install your eSIM on Android

Steps differ slightly by brand (Samsung, Pixel, etc.). You need WiFi while installing.

   Open the QR code

   Open the email on another screen (computer or tablet) so you can scan it with your phone.

   Go to SIM settings

   Samsung: Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM. Pixel: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add eSIM.

   Scan the QR code

   Choose “Scan QR code” and point the camera at it.

   Wait a moment

   The phone downloads the profile. Don’t close the screen until it finishes.

   Choose your data line

   Set the eSIM as your mobile data line. Your SIM stays for calls.

   When you arrive

   Turn on roaming for the eSIM only. The plan activates when it connects to the network.
